8.30 - Get the keys to the classroom, set up laptop for Singspiration

8.45 - Lock room. All the girls to fall-in at parade square

9.00 - Proceed to classroom for Singspiration

9.15 - CE groups (Sec 1s: Brigade Knowledge, Sec 2s: Healthy Attitude II, Sec 3s: Book of Ruth

10.00 - Badge work/Drills (Teach sec1s basic drill - Clare. Sec2s and 3s - 

11.00 - Games (Frisbee/Captain ball?)

12.00 - Announcements

12.30 - Dismiss/Lunch :)

8.30 - Meet in school for fall-in, attendance, announcements, awards presentation, etc. 

8.45 - Combined Singspiration with BB (15 mins).

9.15 - Intro groups, CE teachers/helpers; Breakout into Groups

10.15 - Fall-in at parade square. (Change into PT kit)

Group 1 - Drill practice for the rest

Group 2 - Drill theory for those who failed (re-test)

11.15 - Games/Preparation for welcome party 

12.30 - Dismiss (Lunch)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Looking forward to 2010!

Hello there!!!

Hope you girls had a wonderful start to 2010!

Today is the start of a brand new year and we are definitely looking forward to many new recruits (God-willing), good times and lasting friendships!

There is still much to be done in preparation of the Recruitment day on 9 Jan but at least we are more or less done with the FANCY DRILL part! It looks really fun and different from our usual drill and I'm proud of you all who showed up for every practice!! :)

As for the preparation of posters and recruitment gifts, Ms Loo prefers that you all stay back in school during the week to complete it, so do listen out to the school announcements, ya?

Once again, just a reminder:

There is NO parade tomorrow 2 Jan 10.

Have a good rest over the weekend so that you'll be ready to start school!!

Zonal Drill Test at Fuchun Secondary School

TIMING for DRILL TEST tomorrow!! 19 Dec 2009 (Saturday)


Please report at Fuchun Secondary School at the respective time slots: 
Stage 1 and 3 will come at 07 30 for registration.


Stage 1 will start at 08 00 and end at 09 00.
Stage 3 is from 09 00 to 10 00.

Stage 2 girls will come at 1030. Your tests will start from 11am to 12pm.

Note from GB Drill Instructor (DI): 
Please remind your girls to come on time as late-comers will not be entertained :) The test might last longer than expected as the DIs might need longer time to tally the scores. we might only be able to let u know the results at around 1230 or slightly later.

 
So... I'll see you all directly at Fuchun Secondary School. Don't be late! Please also come prepared to sit for your drill theory paper.

BGB Combined Camp
Meeting time: 12pm, 11 Dec [ignore 10am stated on consent form]
Meeting place: Si Ling Secondary
Attire: PT Kit + shoes

Packing List
4 days, 3 Nights Camp

• 4 sets of clothes shorts /– T-shirts (at least one GB T-shirt)
• Undergarments
• Shorts/Bermudas (at least one school PE shorts) MUST reach at least mid-thigh. Please do not bring/wear anything shorter than that
• 1 school skirt
• At least ONE spare BLACK T-Shirt (for game use)
• Warm clothings (Sweater, Wind Breaker, Track Pants, etc)
• A pair of slippers/ sandals
• A pair of shoes
• 4 pairs of white socks
• Personal toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo, soup/shower gel, comb, etc.)
• Towel
• One Water bottle (1.5litres)
• One cup/ mug for hot drinks
• One small water bottle for game use
• Stationery (pens, pencils, notebook etc.)
• Torch light (with batteries)
• Insect repellent
• Medication (if needed). Keep medication on the outside pocket of bag.
• Plastic bags / zip lock bags to protect/ store clothing.
• Small foldable umbrella
• One 20 cent coin (for games use)
• Bible (if have)
• *Hat/ Cap
• *Board Games/Card Games/ games for groups
