Our long awaited GB Outing on 2 July 2011

Dear Sec 1-3 GB girls,

Please be at Si Ling Secondary by 8.30am.
2-way bus transport provided. We should be back at Causeway point by 12.30pm latest.

Corporals' Camp 2011 (North Zone Combined Camp) IMPORTANT!

Dear Lance Corporals,

You are about to embark on a promotion camp starting this Sat, 28 May 2011.  
One of the main purposes of the camp is to determine if you get promoted to the next rank as a Corporal. It will a great opportunity for you all to learn to serve, to lead and in the process, meet and form friendships with other GB girls from the North Zone companies. 

Do take good care of yourselves over the week so that none of you will have to miss camp. See you all at camp! :) 

Please do read the following packing list carefully. 
North Zone Corporal Camp Packing List
List of things to bring for campers


¨ GB Uniform
¨ 3 GB T-shirts for 3 days
(Must include National GB T-shirt, coy tee / PE T-shirt. 2 dark colored shirt + shorts)
¨ Pajamas/attire for sleeping
¨ 3 Undergarments
¨ 3 sets of PE shorts (NO FBT SHORTS)
¨ 1 School skirt
¨ 1 Sweater
¨ 1 School shoes/sport shoes
¨ 1 Sandals (no slippers)
¨ 2 pair of socks
¨ 1 Toothpaste (at least 100mg)
¨ 1 Towel
¨ Toiletries
¨ 1 Torch (and spare batteries)
¨ Insect repellent
¨ Writing materials
¨ Stationeries (Scotch tape, scissors, pen, notebook)
¨ Bible
¨ 1litre water bottle
¨ utensils- spoon, mug. No disposable.
¨ Personal medication (plaster, medicated oil, etc…)
¨ 3 Hangers
¨ Rag
¨ 1 recent IC photo
¨ 1 water jug per company
¨ 2 pails per company & labeled.
¨ $10 cash (in case of emergency)

  
All items in the list are compulsory items.
Girls are to pack strictly according to the list.
Any extra items not stated in the list which are brought to camp would have to be surrendered to officers till the end of camp.
Do not bring any electronic items and valuables.
All handphones would have to be surrender for safe-keeping during camp.

8.45 arrival at NYPS. 9 parents' workshop n girl's rehersal.
10.10 parade and march in colours.
12.30 lunch
13.15 bus leaves for woodlands MRT station.
Attire: Full-U

THERE IS Drill Down Competition - pls give 1 name per level for a representative to participate in the competition.

Attire: FULL UNIFORM (1st week of the month) We have got badges to give out!!

0800 - 0830 : Duty Team to arrive earlier
- Set up room for Singspiration (Laptop, cable, guitar, etc)
- Prepare materials needed for CE
- Arrange tables/chairs

0830- 0845 : Arrival of rest of GB

0845 - 0900 : FALL IN
- Uniform checking (Officers/helpers)
- Attendance taking (COS)
- Report strength to Duty Officer (COS)
- Presentation of badges (if any) by Officer/Captain
- Opening prayer (DO)

0900 - 0915 : Singspiration Time

0915 - 1000 : CE Time (Split up to group by levels)

1000 - 1100 : Badge work/Drills

1100 - 1110 : Change to PT kit
- School PE T-shirt/GB Polo Tee
- School Shorts ONLY
- School/Sports shoes!!

1110 - 1200 : Games/Bonding Time

1200 - 1215 : Closing parade
- Announcements (if any)
- Closing prayer (DO)
- GB Vesper

Please hand in your edusave forms on Monday (21 Mar 2011) when school reopens to CSM Daphne so that Ms Anna can make claims for the money spent at camp for your meals.

We are taking a little break this week, so there will be no GB parade on 19 Mar 2011 (Sat).
