Qualifying Test

For our 3 staff sergeants,

please note the following instructions from the Drill Committee:

1) All participants are to ensure that they have plenty of rest and are properly hydrated for the assessment.

2) All girls and officers have to be punctual. We have the right not to let any latecomers be assessed.

3) All girls are to wear their Drill Stage 1 to Drill Stage 3 badges on their uniform, if not we will not allow them to be assessed.

4) All participants under 21 who have not already done so are reminded to submit their consent forms to HQ.

These were due on 14 February 2009. Girls without consent forms will be sent home.

Take note of the following criteria:
1) Girls must have attained up to Drill stage 3 and know how to command.
2) Only those who passed DI qualifying test will be attending the DI Course on 28 Feb 09.
3) After completing the DI Course, DIs-to-be are to participate in a national project (further instructions will be given)


Values Venture Competition
GBS 2009 Theme - 'Model Me'
Choose a topic on personal identity, self-esteem, or healthy attitudes around areas of GBS Badgework: e.g. communication, personal grooming, serving the community, teamwork, resilience.
This competition is open only to GB members. Teams should have 1 Facilitator and 4-6 Members. Team Registration may only be done by Officers or Facilitators. Please let Marilyn know if you'd like to join or form a Venture Team. There is no limit to the number of Teams a company may send.

For a great time with friends, join us for a Culinary Art-venture to create beautiful and easy to make Mango Parfaits and Chocolate Crunch Balls. Everyone is welcomed with prior registration. This class includes a talk by Pastor Fong during break time. And great fellowship over yummy chocolate fondue.
