GB Outing! - 3 July

Hey ladies! This Saturday we are not having a normal parade, but we are going on an outing! Yay!

Details as follows:

• Meet in school @ 0815
• Girls will fall-in @ 0830
• Bus pick-up @ 0845
• Bus drop-off ( causeway point ) @ 1200
• Attire: GB polo shirt, school shorts & school shoes

Bring:

• Pen
• Waterbottle
• Notebook

Reflection and Thoughts In Girl's Brigade


I started off as a Secondary 1 girl in girl's brigade
I have never knew i would come such a long way and it have been 3 years plus
There are always times that i don't feel like coming but what kept me going was the officers , friends and activities.
Well when i was in Secondary 1 i had only 1 friend to accompany me and i was somehow disheartened. Thank God there is seniors around the company to accompany us
I have never knew i would join GB because since primary school i wanted to join NPCC.
Thank God i didn't join if not i think i would have quit by now  and have no CCA.
Throughout my years in GB i seriously have learn alot
For example: Kayaking , CE (which you can learn more about Christ) , cooking and so on. There are too many things to name out (:
In Secondary 2 and Secondary 3 i slowly grow up to be a more responsible person and learn to be more helpful towards others.
I was a quiet and shy girl when i first came in and till now i became a more daring person even though i am still shy at times(:
I am loss for words now.
Anw , Congratulations to the new CSM and ACSM which is Daphne and Junjun
Hope that all of you will be able to go through a memorable experience in GB and going back for parade every week without fail. ENJOY(:

PACKING LIST

Compulsory:

· FULL UNIFORM
(pls check and re-check that you have packed the complete uniform)

· 2 Set of Clothes
(school T-shirt, school shorts, undergarments, white socks)

· 1 sweater

· 1 hanger

· 1 rag

· Sleeping Bag

· Towel

· Toiletries

· Slippers/Sandals

· School shoes

· Cloth for polishing boots + Kiwi

· Pen + Notebook + Bible

· Mug + small spoon

· Water bottle 1 Litre

· Medication (e.g. panadol, gastric, diarrhoea medicines etc)

Optional:

· Sunblock

Not allowed:

· Handphones and all electronic devices

· Any other item NOT on this packing list (e.g. snacks)

Reporting time : 730am SHARP on 19^th June

Venue : Siling Secondary School

Reporting attire : GBT, school skirt (with shorts underneath), boots with

GB socks

Im here with a good news!

23RD WON A BRONZE AWARD,

during the Fun Challenge,

it was super crazy for that 75mins.

We should try outdoor cooking again if possible!

Only for those involve in Fun Challenge (Outdoor cooking competition).
There is actually more to bring for the competition, so each person are incharge of something to bring for the actual day, sorry for the last changes but yeah here it goes.

3 mass tins.
3 Tommy Cookers.
1 chopping board.
Match sticks.
1 Vegetable peeler.
& ALL THE INGREDIENTS.

Soh Weiting-
1knife.
1 chopping board.
3 Plastic bags.

Ellis Sim-
3 plates, 1 bowl for presentation and placing of ingredients-must be UNBREAKABLE.

Melanie Wong-
3 Sets of cutleries for cooking and measurement.

ShiYing-
Rags for cleaning.

Lih JunJun-
1 roll of kitchen towel! ( I know i very good)

Samella and Daphne are not required to bring anything but THEMSELVES (:
