March Recruit Camp Photos! - finally, fully loaded :)

Day One of Camp:
@ 1830 hour: We were forced to leave the school compounds for a short while because of the fogging. Its a good thing actually... that meant less "mozzies" to keep us up at night. Thank God!
Activity 1- Camp rules and group forming + coming up with a group cheer.
Venue: void deck of a HDB flat just outside of Fuchun.

Once the fogging was over, we were back in school....
We had a quick inspection and collection of valuables (mainly hps) while the other groups rehearsed their cheers at the foyer. These were the funny group names we had:
Husky, UnderDogs, HotDogs, ChiWahwah, BullDog and Ladybird :)


It was too dark to take photos of you girls in action during Captain's ball, but I must say, all you girls showed team spirit and enthusiasm during the game!

Time: 1930 -- Mdm Pris led singspiration as well as the awards session on Personality

Day 2- Early in the morning, we did a Singapore Heritage Trail.. along Riverside/Clarke Quay/Raffles place :) Our tourguides for the day (Yiling and Cecilia)

29 Mar & 5 Apr Parade

We'll spend the next 2 weeks at Nanyang with the 12th coy primary school kiddo's. Hopefully at the enrolment service on 19 Apr, you'll know them and they'll know you! (remember primary school.....so long ago!)

Attire: Full Uniform. Those without nametags, wear Half U (GB polo tee) w boots & GB socks.
Time: Meet ready in uniform at Si Ling by 7am SHARP! Aiya...but no worries. we'll be back to Causeway Point by 11-11:15am. early start...early finish
Bring: Consent forms
COS: Sumei
Prepare: Sec 3-5s Contact Mam Ling Ling ASAP for your responsibilities.

Thank God for good weather and good trail guides! Thanks to Judy, Vanessa, Cecilia, Yiling, Yunxuan and Mallory...

Good Friday holiday (why is Good Friday "good"?)...enjoy your weekend.

29 Mar - parade with 12th GB primary school company...be ready to wake up early

Sisterhood - 2008 Combined Recruit Camp

Dear girls,

please add to your packing list: 1 umbrella (just in case of Saturday rain)
please tell anyone in 26th coy you know.

Here's the latest packing list:

Day one
1. Report in any school tee shirt + any shorts + shoes ( no slippers)
2. a set of clothing for shower and change at night (slippers allowed)
3. pen for daily reflections and heritage trail
4. sleeping bag
5. jacket/sweater if necessary
6. slippers for shower
7. shower foam and shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste
8. towel
9. dark-coloured shirt for dirty games

Day Two
1. GB polo tee and shorts and shoes
2. track pants (for rope course)
3. money for lunch during heritage trail (around $5-$10)
4. Water bottle
5. Umbrella

Day Three
1. NCOs: GB FULL Uniform – With GB socks, Boots and nametag.
2. Recruits: Bring your boots (and any uniform items you have).
